Radka, a gifted photographer originally from Prague, Czech Republic, embarked on a transformative journey to Paris in 2000, driven by her passion for fashion photography. It was in the vibrant heart of the French capital that she met her artistic partner, René Hallen. Together, they forged a dynamic creative collaboration, showcasing their distinctive vision under the name René & Radka. Renowned for their contributions to esteemed international fashion magazines and high-profile advertising campaigns, the duo quickly made a mark on the contemporary art scene. Their inaugural solo exhibition, "Moonage Daydream," debuted in Berlin in 2006, followed by the evocative shows "Come and Play with Us" and the critically acclaimed "Under Water" in Paris. Much of their work explores the enigmatic world of childhood, portrayed through a sophisticated and cinematic lens that captivates audiences. With their art gaining recognition at prestigious events such as Paris Photo, Art Paris, and FIAC, their compelling narrative caught the attention of the renowned television channel ARTE, which produced a documentary titled "L’Art et la manière," illuminating their creative process. In 2013, René & Radka embraced a new chapter in Los Angeles, where they sought to expand their artistic horizons. Inspired by their love for cinema and Americana, the duo began to explore the realm of the entertainment industry, capturing intimate portraits of celebrities while continuing to create thought-provoking artwork centered around children. Their unique blend of artistry and storytelling continues to resonate, marking them as a significant presence in both the fashion and art worlds.
