Bio
Pierre-Emmanuel Lyet is a distinguished graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, where he cultivated his diverse talents in illustration, animation, and art direction. His creative journey has led to the production of several acclaimed short films, including the award-winning "Parade" (2009) and "La Nuit américaine d’Angélique" (2013), as well as a unique typographic adaptation of "Pierre et le Loup" (2014). In 2018, he collaborated with the Klub Simon collective to co-direct the visually captivating music video "Origami" for the renowned artist RONE. As a prolific illustrator, Lyet has contributed to iconic publications such as "The Parisianer" (10/18, 2014) and "The Parisianer – City 2050" (10/18, 2016). His debut exhibition, "Let Go" (2017), showcased a series of spontaneous sketches inspired by the vibrant streets of New York, allowing him to refine a swift and instinctive technique characterized by rich colors and varied formats. With his subsequent exhibition, "Temps Retrouvés" at SLOW Galerie in 2018, he delved into more personal themes, blending summer fantasies with the bittersweet nostalgia of fleeting moments. Through his multifaceted approach, Pierre-Emmanuel Lyet continues to captivate audiences with his evocative storytelling and artistic vision.
