Paul Costello is a nationally acclaimed photographer, celebrated not only for his captivating imagery but also for his vibrant personality that shines through in every project. With a diverse portfolio that encompasses lifestyle, travel, interiors, and portrait photography, Paul's work has graced the pages of prestigious publications such as Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Elle Décor, and People Magazine. His visual storytelling has also been integral to high-profile ad campaigns for brands like Marriott, Corcoran, Allswell, Draper James, Kate Spade, Target, and PPG. Paul's artistic journey began with the quintessential move to New York, where he honed his craft after earning a degree in photography from NYU. His career took off in the esteemed art department of Vanity Fair, followed by invaluable experiences assisting iconic photographers including Ellen von Unwerth, Richard Burbridge, and Annie Leibowitz. A defining moment came when he shot a Phish concert for Rolling Stone, marking the start of a prolific career that has seen him photograph numerous artists and celebrities across various genres. In a bold departure from the bustling life of New York, Paul embraced a new chapter in 2010, trading the city's skyline for the enchanting charm of New Orleans’ Garden District. Alongside his talented wife, designer Sara, and their three children, he transformed a dilapidated 150-year-old home into a lively sanctuary, and later, skillfully renovated an old church into a dynamic photo studio with guest accommodations. Now rooted in the rich culture of the South, Paul continues to travel wherever his work leads him. To catch a glimpse of his adventures and latest projects, follow him on Instagram @pthepaul.
