Paul Costello, Photographer, New York

Description

This interior photograph captured in New York by photographer Paul Costello showcases a moody residential hallway framed through a heavy wooden doorway. The walls are painted a deep teal colour, contrasting with the dark polished wood floor and the ornate wooden staircase. A vibrant red stair runner ascends the steps, drawing the eye toward the banister and a framed artwork hanging on the wall. A single round globe pendant light hangs from the ceiling medallion, casting a warm illumination across the space. The composition emphasizes rich textures and architectural details, creating an intimate and sophisticated atmosphere.
