Bio
Maggie, an accomplished photographer originally from Martha’s Vineyard, holds an MFA from the prestigious School of Visual Arts. Currently residing in Los Angeles with her husband and beloved cat, Lester, she passionately explores the narratives of smaller communities and social rituals. Through her lens, Maggie seeks to amplify diverse voices and foster inclusivity, grounding her work in sincerity, empathy, and an insatiable curiosity. In 2018, Maggie gained recognition as a PDN Emerging Photographer and was honored to be included in Magnum’s esteemed 30 Under 30 list. A proud member of Women Photograph, her captivating work has been featured in American Photography 35 and 36. Her debut book, *Swamp Yankee*, delves into the unique culture of New England shark fishing, showcasing her ability to weave intricate stories through photography. When she’s not behind the camera, Maggie enjoys camping, baking delicious pies, and experimenting with vegetable gardening. A fan of clever humor, she appreciates a good Seinfeld reference and welcomes them in her email correspondence.
