Kimberlie is a talented Asian-American illustrator, designer, and ceramicist hailing from the vibrant landscapes of Hawaii. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the prestigious Art Center College of Design. Currently, she navigates the enchanting contrasts of her life between the lush shores of Honolulu and the serene landscapes of Michigan, where she is now based. With a diverse artistic repertoire that ranges from conceptually rich editorials to whimsically surreal children’s illustrations, Kimberlie’s work envelops viewers in a sense of comfort and coziness. She skillfully empowers underrepresented communities through her art, weaving multicultural imagery into her narratives. In addition to digital illustration, Kimberlie is a co- and principal artist at Two Hold Studios, a collaborative ceramic design studio. Her hands-on experience in painting ceramic forms informs her unique approach to texture and color, allowing her to create multidimensional surfaces that captivate the eye. Her impressive client roster includes notable names such as Starbucks, The Washington Post, Magic Cat, DK, and Neon Squid, reflecting her versatility and the broad appeal of her artistry. With each project, Kimberlie continues to inspire and uplift through her creative vision, making her a distinctive voice in the contemporary art scene.
