Kayla is a dynamic American photographer and director specializing in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty, currently based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles. Born in 1991 in Bakersfield, California, Kayla's passion for photography ignited at the tender age of 13 when she was gifted a small camera. Captivated by the art of visual storytelling, she began documenting her teenage experiences, a journey that would shape her creative voice. Growing up in a small town with limited artistic avenues, she dedicated herself to honing her craft, ultimately leading her to pursue formal education at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in 2010. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Kayla has established a prolific career, working in both Los Angeles and New York, and expanding her reach to London on regular assignments since 2017. Her recent work delves into the realms of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, exploring the intimacy and emotional connections between subjects. Through her lens, Kayla captures the essence of human interaction, employing vibrant colors, expressive movement, and a sense of spontaneity that reveals the joy in unexpected moments.
