Bio
As a vibrant illustrator based in the creative hub of Berlin, I specialize in crafting visually striking works for a diverse array of editorial and advertising clients, as well as cultural institutions. My artistic journey began at the esteemed Folkwang University of the Arts and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, where I focused on graphic design with a particular emphasis on illustration. I proudly earned my master’s degree in visual communication in 2015, laying a solid foundation for my evolving artistic practice. My illustration style is characterized by a harmonious interplay of color, form, and texture. I revel in the juxtaposition of bold, vibrant hues against softer, more muted tones. My thematic explorations range from minimalist compositions to intricate architectural narratives, each piece reflecting a unique balance of complexity and simplicity. By merging digital illustrations with tactile textures inspired by traditional printing techniques, I create dynamic visual contrasts that engage the viewer on multiple levels. Through a child-like lens, my work captures a sense of wonder, enveloping human characters within imaginative environments. The resulting compositions offer a captivating interplay of linear geometric spaces, map-like layouts, textured patterns, and fluid organic shapes, inviting audiences to explore the lively narratives woven throughout my creations.
