About

This animated digital illustration by Chicago illustrator Julia Schwarz features a glowing green and yellow UFO hovering against a solid black background. A textured green tractor beam projects downwards, briefly lifting a silhouetted black cat into the spacecraft before retracting. The clean vector style animation highlights the playful interaction between the sci-fi subject matter and the feline figure. The simple composition uses high contrast between the vibrant green spaceship and the dark void.
