John is a distinguished still life photographer with over two decades of expertise in the dynamic world of visual arts. His journey began in the vibrant advertising scene of the 1990s, where he honed his craft as an assistant to renowned photographer Craig Cutler. This foundational experience paved the way for an illustrious career working with prestigious editorial clients, including Vogue, Glamour, W, and InStyle. Drawing inspiration from the timeless works of iconic still life photographers such as Paul Outerbridge, Irving Penn, and Joseph Sudek, John’s artistry is further enriched by the influence of contemporary creators, innovative technology, and the intricacies of his own life experiences. In an era dominated by digital imagery, he remains passionate about the tactile nature of still life photography, valuing the focus and meticulous attention it demands. Currently, John dedicates his talents to the realms of cosmetic and fashion still life photography while also pursuing personal projects that reflect his unique vision.
