California native Joe Pugliese embarked on his photography journey in high school, where he first experimented with darkroom chemistry at his local daily newspaper. Initially entering the industry as a photojournalist, Joe soon transitioned to the editorial realm, where his keen eye and storytelling ability flourished. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of capturing the essence of some of the most intriguing figures of our time—from newsmakers and actors to scientists, politicians, musicians, and athletes. Now based in Los Angeles, Pugliese finds inspiration in the vibrant landscapes around him. He often begins his day with invigorating bicycle rides through the scenic Hollywood Hills and along the beautiful shores of Malibu, infusing his work with the energy and spirit of Southern California.
