Antoine Henault
Bio
Antoine Henault is a visionary French photographer residing in the heart of Paris. His artistic journey was ignited as a teenager when he encountered the evocative photography of Saul Leiter, the whimsical lens of Jacques Henri Lartigue, and the contemplative paintings of Edward Hopper. A self-taught autodidact, Henault's visual vocabulary is profoundly shaped by the digital landscape, where an endless stream of images fuels his imagination. Rooted in the natural environment of his youth, Henault's work emerges as a dialogue between the individual and their surroundings, reflecting a deep reverence for the world around us. His photography exhibits a striking graphic quality and a sensory richness that invites viewers into a realm of new contemplation, celebrating the intricate connections between people and their environment. In 2022, Henault's talent was recognized with his debut exhibition, "Insolations," at the esteemed Eugène Delacroix National Museum in Paris. Concurrently, his first book, also titled "Insolations," was released by 37.2 Editions, marking a significant milestone in his artistic career.
