Bio

I was born in 1983 in Porto Alegre, south of Brazil, to an Italian family. My interest in photography started when I was eight years old and my mum was taking classes. She was developing film at home and left the chemicals in the fridge, inside green glass bottles. One day I got home from school and had a whole swig of chemicals before I realised it wasn't water. After graduating in Advertising, I lived in London and Barcelona, finally choosing Sydney as my home. Capturing the uniqueness of Australian landscape and culture through a foreign lens has allowed me to see things that people may miss because it’s so familiar to them. Some of my favourite shots have been taken in ordinary, mundane moments, but to me they are magical fragments of life.
