Edward Mulvihill
Bio
EDWARD MULVIHILL allows the possibilities of an image through the process of making. He graduated with a degree in Fine Art Mastering in Sculpture from The National Art School. Since then he has worked in New York and London alongside the world’s leading photographers. Now based in Melbourne, Edward draws on history, philosophy, and social semiotic theory to read, interpret and create work that is meaningful. With these principles as a foundation, Edward uses light, composition, and colour to develop the vision of his collaborators and clients. He merges the ideologies behind art and fashion into a shared mode of expression, pulls apart structure, and makes spaces for experimentation and play. EDWARD MULVIHILL has collaborated with Aje, Alex Perry, ALX, Australian World Orchestra, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Bec and Bridge, McGraw, Neutrogena, Spec Savers, Tony Bianco, and Tony Garifalakis.. He has featured in Another Magazine, Australian Creative, Gasoline, GQ Australia, Harper’s Bazaar Australia, I-D London, Jane Magazine, Laud Magazine, Marie Claire Australia, Off Black, Oyster, RUSSH, The Australian, The Sunday Telegraph, The Sydney Morning Herald, To Be, Wanted, and Yen.
