Born in Cape Town and raised in Germany, I am a London-based advertising photographer whose global travels have profoundly shaped my artistic vision. My unique Afro-an perspective, combined with an insatiable curiosity for exploration, has led to dynamic collaborations with leading advertising agencies worldwide. My early photographic work was deeply influenced by extensive travels across Africa, where I developed a profound appreciation for landscapes and natural environments. This exploration ignited my passion for storytelling through imagery, inspiring me to experiment with innovative lighting techniques, movement, and cutting-edge digital technology to create a distinctive atmospheric aesthetic. In both my personal and commissioned projects, I strive to capture the human form in its most evocative moments, reflecting the rich tapestry of human experience. Currently, I am immersed in a series of portraits of the Himba tribes of Africa, part of a broader initiative that celebrates iconic tribes across the continent and their unique expressions through movement and dance. I firmly believe in the transformative power of photography; a single image can encapsulate profound narratives, serving as a powerful and memorable testament to fleeting moments in time.
