Born in England, Daymion's artistic journey began at an early age when his parents made the unconventional decision to withdraw him from primary school at just ten years old. This pivotal choice led to a year of adventure, traveling across Western in a Volkswagen bus, during which he immersed himself in the rich landscapes of humanities and arts, visiting renowned galleries and museums that would inspire his creative vision. In 1999, Daymion's talent caught the eye of the legendary American photographer Richard Avedon, who invited him to join his studio as First Assistant and Studio Manager. This invaluable experience spanned five transformative years, culminating in the passing of Avedon in 2004. Since then, Daymion has emerged as one of America's foremost advertising and commercial fashion photographers, earning accolades for his innovative approach and artistic precision. Over the past two decades, Daymion has collaborated with an impressive array of clients, including Vogue, Tiffany & Co., Revlon, Walmart, and Harper's Bazaar. His signature style—characterized by striking branding and meticulous lighting—has made him a sought-after talent among a diverse clientele in the retail industry. Now based in New York, Daymion continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling as a photographer, proudly represented by Art-Dept.
