Carlton Davis embarked on his journey with the camera at the tender age of sixteen, igniting a passion that would shape his life and career. His early fascination blossomed as he took on the role of high school yearbook photographer, where he honed his eye for composition and storytelling. Seeking to deepen his understanding of the medium, Carlton accepted a position at a local one-hour photo lab, mastering the technical aspects of photography while nurturing his creative instincts. After studying photography in Rhode Island, Carlton relocated to New York, immersing himself in the vibrant art scene. There, he served as a photographer’s assistant for three transformative years, refining his craft under the guidance of established artists. In 1990, driven by a vision and a commitment to his artistry, Carlton launched his own commercial photography studio, quickly establishing himself as a prominent figure in the industry. Today, he enjoys a thriving career, celebrated for his unique perspective and innovative approach to visual storytelling.
