**ABOUT DAVID & KENDRICK** David Walter Banks and Kendrick Brinson discovered their shared passion for photography and storytelling during a transformative photojournalism class in college, igniting both their professional journeys and personal relationship. Over the years, their bond deepened, culminating in a love that mirrors the powerful narratives they capture through their lenses. Beginning their careers as community photojournalists in the South, David and Kendrick quickly gained recognition for their compelling imagery. Their artistry expanded to national magazines, where their documentary and portraiture work garnered acclaim. Collaborating as a dynamic duo, they have created vibrant, moment-driven visuals for some of the world’s most prestigious advertising agencies and editorial publications. Their bylines grace the pages of renowned platforms such as The New York Times and National Geographic, while their impressive client roster includes Fortune Magazine, Apple, and Red Bull. After a fruitful stint in Los Angeles, where they cultivated a creative network, the couple returned to their Southern roots, settling in a charming 1916 bungalow in Atlanta. There, they enjoy life with their beloved pets—Tux, Tia, and Rex—and tend to a flourishing vegetable garden. David and Kendrick's unique vision has attracted extensive media attention, with interviews featured in PDN, Rangefinder, American Photography, TIME's Lightbox, aPhotoEditor, The New York Times Lens Blog, CNN Photos, and PhotoShelter. Their work has been displayed in exhibitions across cities including Houston, New York, Atlanta, and Groningen in the Netherlands. Additionally, their images are part of prestigious collections, including the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Division of Art, Prints and Photographs at the New York Public Library and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia. Together, David and Kendrick continue to inspire audiences with their poignant storytelling and artistic vision, leaving an indelible mark on the world of photography.
