Anders Overgaard, a talented photographer hailing from Helsingør, Denmark—the storied hometown of Hamlet—has cultivated a dynamic visual language that reflects his lifelong passion for the outdoors and the vibrant energy of his early experiences. His fascination with photography ignited at the tender age of 10, as he captured the exhilarating moments of his skateboarder and windsurfing friends, laying the groundwork for a career defined by movement and vitality. After honing his skills at the Copenhagen Graphic Design School, Anders embarked on an enriching journey to Paris, where he immersed himself in the fashion industry and gained invaluable insights while assisting renowned photographers such as Gilles Bensimon. In 1990, he made a bold move to New York City, joining the ranks of celebrated photographer Bruce Weber.
