Anders Overgaard, Photographer, New York

Description

This black and white editorial photograph by Anders Overgaard captures a woman seated centrally upon a table inside a dimly lit bar, holding playing cards in her hands. She wears a dark jacket, light-coloured trousers, and strappy heels, with cards spread out across the dark surface in front of her. In the background, a man stands near a bar counter and shelves filled with memorabilia, while the overall scene is rendered in high-contrast monochrome tones. The composition emphasises the central subject within the atmospheric interior space, highlighting textures in her clothing and the surrounding bar environment.
