Description

This conceptual still life photograph by Zen Sekizawa in Los Angeles captures a striking composition against a smooth gradient background. A vibrant purple and blue dried flower burns brightly, with visible flames licking upwards from its textured petals and dark center. The flower stem is gripped from below by a dark red crab claw. Suspended directly above the flower is a lit cigarette with wisps of smoke, adding an surreal element to the piece. The lighting is soft yet directional, highlighting the rich textures of the charred petals, the smooth chitin of the claw, and the glowing embers.
