Yoshiyuki Matsumura, Photographer, New York

Description

This striking photographic portrait by Yoshiyuki Matsumura features an individual with intricately braided hair wrapped across their head, partially obscuring the face alongside a smooth wooden prop. The subject wears a high-necked white garment detailed with circular cut-outs across the shoulder and chest. The warm, muted color palette and soft lighting create an intimate, sculptural composition. The background is a flat, neutral brown tone that isolates the subject. The image is presented within a thin light-colored photographic border.
