Yoshihiro Makino, Photographer, New York

Description

This interior architectural photograph by Yoshihiro Makino captures a moody bathroom scene dominated by a towering multi-paned blue mosaic glass window. Vibrant blue and white light streams through the glass, projecting intricate, textured patterns of illumination diagonally across the dark, rough-hewn stone wall. In the foreground, a dark built-in bathtub rests beneath the window, catching the dim ambient lighting and the subtle reflections from the stained glass. A small bowl and accessories sit quietly on the ledge beside the tub. The overall color palette is steeped in deep blue tones, creating a tranquil and atmospheric mood within the space.
