Description

A mixed-media painting by Wes Lang depicts a stylized bluebird with bright cyan feathers and an orange breast perched on a leafless tree branch. The bird is set against an impasto gold background bordered by expressive black brushstrokes and paint drips. Directly beneath the branch, bold black lettering spells out 'THE UNIVERSE COMES TO YOU' over a paint-splattered white lower register. Small illustrative vignettes, including framed floral sketches and skeletal figures, accent the perimeter of the composition.
