Squire Fox, Photographer, New York

Description

This landscape photograph captures a desert at sunset, shot by photographer Squire Fox. The low sun rests directly upon the ridge of distant, layered mountain silhouettes, casting a warm golden and amber glow across the sky. In the foreground and middle ground, arid terrain features low shrubs and slender, spiky ocotillo cacti standing in dark silhouette. The lighting is intensely atmospheric, driven by the natural radiance of the setting sun filtering through a hazy horizon. The composition balances the expansive sky with the textured, rugged expanse of the desert floor.
