Théo De Gueltzl, New York

Description

This striking portrait photograph by creative Théo De Gueltzl features a shirtless black man viewed from behind with his head tilted straight back. A dense cascade of fine red sand pours directly over his face and down the center of his neck and upper back. The composition is captured against a clean, minimal off-white background with soft, diffused lighting that emphasizes the contours of his shoulders and the warm textured stream of falling particles. The muted color palette centers on the dark skin tones contrasted sharply by the vibrant rust-colored sand running vertically through the frame.
