Description

An overhead photograph captured by Leslie Grow presents a generous spread of Texas barbecue served on butcher paper inside a metal tray. Sliced smoked beef brisket with a dark bark sits alongside seasoned pork ribs, links of smoked sausage, and a small bowl of red barbecue sauce. The food rests on a red and white checkered liner atop peach-tinted butcher paper. Bright, clean lighting creates crisp shadows and accentuates the charred textures and glistening surfaces of the meats. The top-down perspective emphasizes the rich textures and arrangement of the classic barbecue items.
