Description

The video references the year 1897 when Guccio Gucci left Florence for London, finding work as a porter at the Savoy Hotel. The fashion and style of the hotel guests inspired him to open his own store. A collection of English luggage is featured as well as shots of Gucci Archive. The video shows a hand opening a book, old black and white photos and illustrations, and images of the city.
