SSENSE HEAT 2025

About

This striking editorial image from the HEAT project for SSENSE, photographed by CG Watkins with styling by François Gravel, captures a dynamic and raw moment. A male model is depicted crawling low on a dark asphalt surface, his back arched as water splashes dramatically across the scene, creating a shower of glistening droplets. The lighting is harsh and direct, casting sharp shadows and highlighting the texture of the wet pavement and water spray. Visible details include a dark circular tattoo on the model's shoulder blade and dark swim briefs. The composition is captured from a low angle, emphasizing the physical intensity and movement of the subject.
