An environmental advertising campaign created by Special New Zealand features a large, coiled sculpture resembling excrement constructed entirely from discarded plastic waste and packaging. The installation sits centrally on a wide sandy beach, with gentle ocean waves breaking in the background. Numerous seagulls circle overhead against an expansive, pale overcast sky. Bold white sans-serif text positioned in the upper sky reads every thirty seconds a pile of plastic sh!t this big is dumped in our oceans.
