Description

This dynamic high-speed action photograph by San Francisco-based photographer Shaun Fenn captures water splashing dramatically over a pile of fresh dark blue wine grapes. The composition uses a shallow depth of field and vertical framing to emphasize the fluid motion of water cascading over the glossy surfaces of the fruit. Vertical streaks of water and droplets create a sense of rapid movement against a dark, moody background. The natural textures of the wet grape clusters and stems are sharply defined amidst the blurred motion of the surrounding splashes.
