Peter Bohler, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This dramatic vertical photograph by Peter Bohler captures a large wildfire raging at night along a dark ridge line. Intense yellow and orange flames blaze near the terrain, casting a powerful glow upward. Thick clouds of luminous smoke and ash fill the upper portion of the frame against a dark sky. The scene is illuminated entirely by the natural light of the fire, creating a striking contrast between the fiery lower half and the deep darkness above. The composition emphasizes the scale and raw intensity of the blaze.
