More or Less Magazine Period problems 2026

Description

This editorial photograph for More or Less Magazine's project Period problems features an unconventional juxtaposition in an urban setting. A modern silver electric pickup truck is parked parallel in an asphalt lot, facing a person dressed in complete medieval metal plate armor who stands holding a sword pointed toward the vehicle's front bumper. The background consists of a low brick wall beneath a large industrial corrugated metal facade with a weathered No Parking sign. The natural daylight casts soft shadows on the ground, creating a stark contrast between futuristic automotive design and historical armor.
