Paul Schefz, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This portrait photograph by Paul Schefz captures a male athlete dressed in a dark athletic top and shorts, meticulously wrapping his hands in white sports tape. The composition focuses tightly on the upper torso and hands, emphasizing the tactile texture of the fabric and wrapping. The lighting is low-key and dramatic, casting soft shadows across the figure against a dark, indistinct background. The restrained color palette and focused framing create an intense, preparation-focused atmosphere.
