Patrick House, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait by photographer Patrick House features a Black man in profile view, wearing a dark beanie hat and a dark jacket. The scene is illuminated by a heavy red atmospheric light casting deep shadows across his face and attire. He has a serious expression and gazes off to the side. The background features vertical wood paneling and architectural framing elements partially obscured in shadow. The moody color grading enhances the dramatic, cinematic feel of the shot.
