Patrice De Villiers, Photographer, Paris

Description

This striking photographic composition by Paris-based photographer Patrice De Villiers features two vibrant lime-green romanesco broccoli heads positioned on opposing sides of the frame. Their intricate, self-similar fractal patterns create a natural geometric contrast against the deep blue background. Running vertically down the center between the two green botanical subjects is a dark, intricately textured twisting ribbon-like structure. The sharp focus and high-contrast lighting accentuate the mathematical precision of the organic forms. The overall composition balances organic texture with stark, clean negative space.
