Evelyn Dragan, Photographer, Berlin

Description

This studio photograph by Berlin-based photographer Evelyn Dragan features a single orange translucent ribbon-like object curled and folded upon itself. The object is partially submerged in an amber-tinted liquid inside a white bowl or container. Directional lighting casts a prominent, dark shadow downward onto the inner surface of the vessel. The composition highlights the glossy, smooth texture of the material and the play of light through its translucent folds.
