Olaf Hajek, Illustrator, London

Description

This detailed botanical illustration by illustrator Olaf Hajek showcases a central scene enclosed by a vibrant, ornate geometric border in shades of green, orange, and turquoise. At the center, a white deer with delicate antlers stands on a pink floral foreground band against an orange background, flanked by two rounded trees with textured foliage. Above the deer, a tall slender plant sprouts white blossoms that support a resting colorful bird with a black and yellow body and dark wings. The composition employs a flat, graphic style with rich textures and folkloric storytelling elements.
