Description

This colourful paper cut collage illustration by Adelaide-based illustrator Alice Lindstrom depicts a reclining female figure surrounded by dense, abstract floral foliage. The artwork is constructed from meticulously cut and layered colored paper, featuring geometric patterns and bold blocks of pink, yellow, blue, and red. The central figure has a faceted, abstract facial structure with dark hair and bright red lips, rendered in a distinct modernist style. Intricate botanical motifs fill the background and foreground, creating a richly textured and layered composition. The visible paper texture and sharp cut edges highlight the physical handcrafted nature of the artwork.
