About

A vertical minimalist still life composition features two green almonds centered against a pale blue-grey background. The top almond is intact with a short brown stem attached, displaying a velvety sage green hull. Directly below it, a second almond is split open, revealing the beige, textured surface of the inner pit encased in its green outer shell. The shot is evenly lit with soft, diffused studio lighting creating faint shadows beneath the subjects.
