Description

This atmospheric landscape photograph by Toby Burrows captures a wide, dark river flowing through a dense forest enveloped in thick morning fog. The dense tree lines on both banks fade gradually into a heavy mist that blankets the upper horizon and obscures the sky. The lighting is soft, flat, and natural, diffusing evenly across the water's gentle ripples and enhancing the moody, tranquil ambiance of the scene. Dark tones dominate the water and silhouetted foliage, contrasted only by the pale, luminous grey of the fog.
