Description

This video sequence by Michele Foti begins with an out-of-focus abstract wash of warm orange, red, and yellow light before transitioning into detailed shots of expressionist paintings. The artworks feature heavy brushwork, visible impasto textures, and bold strokes in primary colors including deep blues, yellows, and reds. The camera pans across canvas surfaces and mixed-media compositions, revealing layered mark-making and painterly details. The piece explores color relationships and abstract forms through a dynamic visual rhythm.
