Description

This painted illustration by Meryl Rowin depicts a black and tan dog sitting upright on top of a large, golden-brown braided loaf of challah sprinkled with white sesame seeds. The artwork is rendered on a clean, solid white background with visible paint textures and soft shading on the baked bread surface. The dog is positioned centrally on the braided pastry, facing forward with a steady expression. The warm tones of the bread contrast with the dark fur of the dog.
