Mathieu Clauss, Illustrator, Paris

Description

This digital collage artwork by Paris-based illustrator Mathieu Clauss features a portrait of a woman whose head and neck are entwined with vibrant, wavy paper ribbons in shades of blue, green, purple, and orange. The woman wears a red top and has brown hair, with one eye and red lips visible beneath the looping paper layers. The background is a solid, warm golden-yellow tone that complements the rich colour palette of the ribbons. The composition blends photographic portraiture with textured, tactile paper art elements, creating a surreal and graphic aesthetic.
