Margaret Lampert, Photographer, San Francisco

Description

This landscape photograph by Margaret Lampert captures a tall, bare tree centrally positioned against a calm body of water in San Francisco. The dark branches of the tree create a striking, near-symmetrical reflection on the water's surface, mirroring its intricate network of limbs. In the background, a dense line of silhouetted trees stands beneath a soft, pale twilight sky that hints at sunset. The composition relies on natural light and strong vertical symmetry, emphasizing the quiet stillness of the natural environment.
