Louise Samuelsen, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait photograph by Louise Samuelsen captures a family of three relaxing together in a warmly lit interior space. A bearded man in a green ribbed sweater and brown trousers reclines on a patterned red and white rug laid across a bed, holding up a straw cowboy hat. Beside him, a blond woman in a colourful patterned top sits holding a young child who is lying down with arms and legs playfully outstretched. Two small citrus fruits rest on the textured red rug in the lower foreground. The scene is framed by a modern angled wall with indirect lighting running along its edge, creating a warm, intimate domestic atmosphere.
