Description

This photograph by Lee Wei Swee, captured in Paris, features a large, coarse-textured terracotta armchair sculpture as its central subject. The rustic chair stands against dark green interior walls, with a teal floor extending beneath it and a bright window visible in the upper right. The composition utilizes a wide-angle perspective, creating a distorted vignette framing around the edges of the dark room. The lighting is moody and natural, highlighting the rough, porous surface of the earthenware object against the smooth, painted surfaces of the surrounding space.
