About

This editorial portrait captured by photographer Lauren Maccabee features two young female brass band members standing outdoors in an outdoor setting. Both subjects wear matching maroon blazers with dark collars, white shirts, and striped red ties, paired with dark trousers. The girl on the right holds a silver cornet instrument in her hands, while the girl on the left holds another silver brass instrument downwards. In the background, other band members and musicians are visible blurred in motion against stone buildings under daylight. The natural lighting and candid observational style highlight the traditional band uniforms and earnest expressions of the musicians.
