Kwaku Alston, Photographer, New York

Description

This portrait photograph by Kwaku Alston captures a man front and center against a dark background, illuminated by contrasting red and blue side lighting that casts distinct color hues across each side of his face. The large word LOYALTY is overlaid in bold capital letters across the center of the frame, split between red on the left and blue on the right. Additional text at the bottom reads POWER BOOK II: GHOST SUN NOV 21 STARZ. The composition is moody and dramatic, utilizing a low-key lighting approach to emphasize the facial features and the intense atmosphere of the subject.
