Karima Asaad, Photographer, Sydney

Description

An adventurous action photograph captured by Karima Asaad features a shirtless man mid-air executing an inverted backflip over the crest of a steep desert sand dune. Plumes of sand kick up beneath him as he launches himself into the air against a clear, pale sky. A sharp shadow of the figure is cast clearly onto the sloping textured sand below. The composition emphasizes raw motion and athletic movement in a vast natural desert environment under bright daylight.
